An utterance that requests an action to be performed, i.e., commands, pleas etc.[1][2][3]

Example (1):

    -"Please show that..."

Example (2):

-Explainer: [Try look over there and concentrate on his face over there., Can you see me waving my hand without turning your eyes?] --> Action directive
-Explainee: ['No.']
-Explainer: [Alright, so, at some point, you can probably see it right now?, So without moving your eyes, this is kind of hard, tell me how many fingers I'm holding up?] --> Action directive
-Explainee: ['Uh, three?']
